Gonzalo Miranda is managing partner of Austral Capital, an investment firm that focuses on investing in technology, energy, and natural resource opportunities in Latin America.
Mr. Miranda has expertise in scaling new and innovative companies to meet untapped customer demand across a range of industries. Currently, he holds board positions at Paperless, Multicaja, Shift Labor, Product Protegido, Fiscalía Privada, ACAFI (Chilean Fund Managers’ Association) and Prince of Wales Country Club, a non-profit. He is also a member of the Society of Kauffman Fellows and Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago.
Prior to founding Austral, Mr. Miranda was Managing Director of Endeavor Chile, a global non-profit organization that promotes high-impact entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
Mr. Miranda holds an MBA and MOT (Management of Technology) from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, a Master’s of Science and undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Católica de Chile.
